Today I meandered through a local bookshop. Among books on display were such pearls as ‘Emmanuel Macron: Revolution!’, ‘Angela Merkel: My Struggle’ and ‘Goldman Sachs: We’re In This Together Goys’. An hour later, whilst enjoying the sun and sipping on some freshly squeezed orange juice, I suddenly realised that the war for modernity is lost. It’s over, was over before we were even born. As a society we have simply conceded too much ground. I mean, here we are, defending president Trump for being a president, defending Sheriff Joe for being a sheriff, defending historical figures for being historical figures… It is nonsensical. It’s like Milton fighting for his stapler.
I am reminded of a story about a fight between Li Zhisui, Mao Zedong’s physician, and Jian Qing, Mao’s wife. Jian Qing, who was a horrible bitch, hated Li pretty much on account of him being a competent doctor. In her defence, Mao had not boned her in years, in fact screwed an entire harem of women on the side in part. Still, some people by nature are petty and spiteful and it seems Jian Qing belonged in this category.
At first Jian had no role of importance in communist China. But as years passed Mao needed more loyalists in his fight against political competitors so he promoted his wife Jian Qing to a prominent position. Jian Qing took great liking to her new power and started using it against people she disliked.
During the Cultural Revolution Jian Qing developed a tooth ache. She demanded Li Zhisui take a look at it. Li, being a doctor and not a dentist, flew in 2 acclaimed dentists who diagnosed her with an infected molar, tested for allergies and injected her with an anti-biotic. However, after half an hour, Jian Qing became hysterical. She was itching everywhere, shouted for help, shouted she was poisoned. Doctor Li was rushed in and examined her. He found no signs of rash, no change in pulse, not a single sign of irritation. But it did not matter: Jian Qing accused doctor Li of poisoning the chairman’s wife. She in fact went so far as to make the dentists sign a form in which they confessed that Li Zhisui made them use a poison. With Mao unwilling and unable to stick out his neck, Li was forced into hiding.
In Li’s absence Jian Qing demanded that laboratory scientists confirm the poisonous nature of the antibiotic. When the results showed no traces of poison she became very angry and demanded the scientists change their conclusions (or else..). Luckily Li’s superior, Wang Dongxing, fearing for his own life, ensured that the laboratory did not change its conclusion. After two months, Li Zhisui could come out of hiding.
The moral of the story is that we on the right are like Li Zhisui, set-up and accused of vile lies by spiteful leftists who want to see the world burn and in fact will live to see the world burn. Western society is too infected with leftism for the tide to be turned. The easiest metric for this is emancipation: if women are emancipated it means men have failed women’s shit-test. If men have failed women’s shit-test, women refuse to be wives and mothers. If women refuse to be wives and mothers, men refuse to defend and maintain society. If men refuse to defend and maintain society, society will fall apart and be plundered by outsiders.
Like the emancipated Jian Qing demanded the death of her doctor on grounds of him being a doctor, emancipated women demand the death of their men on ground of them being men.
We can not save this dying carcass. NRx is correct – the only way forward is to build new, parallel institutions, as far to the right as possible.
